Material
Heat shrinkable three-way breakouts are made
of high quality cross-linked polyethylene,
thanks to that they are anti-tracking and
erosion resistant. They have excellent insulation
and sealing properties. Inside surface of
breakouts is covered by hot melt adhesive.
Color
AK and AKR breakouts are black; AKB breakouts
are red .
Operating temperature
AK breakouts: -30 °C to +135 °C;
AKR breakouts: -40 °C to +120 °C.
Shrinking temperature
>
+125 °C.
Ultimate elongation
Minimum 300 %.
Volume resistivity
AK breakouts: minimum 1013 Ωcm; AKR
breakouts: minimum 1012 Ωcm.
Self extinguishing (flame retardant).
No corrosion in contact with copper.
UV resistance.
Cable saturant resistance.

Minimum 10 kV/mm.
Heat shock resistance
No cracking and flowing of material (testing
during 4h in temperature of +250°C).
Thermal ageing
No cracking and flowing of material (testing
