RADPOL S.A. with headquarters in Człuchów has been in business for over 30 years and has a 50-70% share of the domestic market of the goods it manufactures. RADPOL is the only Polish heat shrink producer with its own complete technological line for heat shrink production as long as two accelerators for their radiation crosslinking.

The Company specializes in the production of goods made of refined polyethylene on the basis of their own unique material mixtures adjusted to undergo the process of radiation cross-linking. Owing to the technology of radiation cross-linking polyethylene-made goods have so called "elastic shape memory". They are used mostly in power-engineering, electronic, domestic appliances, telecommunication, and the heat engineering and automotive industries.
The Company possesses a 2 MeV industrial electron accelerator, the sole unit of its kind in Poland, using radiation cross-linking technology.

Key product groups of the Company's product portfolio are as follows:

Heat shrinkable tubing and fittings (made of refined polyethylene):

•  Thin-wall heat-shrinkable tubes,
•  Medium-wall heat-shrinkable tubes and thick -wall heat-shrinkable tubes,
•  Assembly kits: joints and terminations for low-voltage (up to 1kV) and
   medium-voltage (over 1kV) cables,
•  Heat-shrinkable fittings: end-caps , breakouts , wraparound sleeves etc.,
•  Heat-shrinkable accessories for heat engineering industry.

RADPOL S.A. has been running production activities in accordance with provisions of ISO 9001:2000 standard holding a certificate issued by the Polish Shipping Register. In 2005 the Company will start certification procedures in the area of ISO 14001:1998 standards on issues related to the environmental protection. At the moment Radpol is keeping records of waste products, and it has concluded an agreement on assurance of required recycling level with the Biosystem Recovery Organization, Kraków.
